Which is the best way of having beetroot, cooked or raw? What is the best way to preserve nutrients in beetroot while cooking? Is there any side effect of eating beetroot? I am bit confused as I am planning to include this vegetable in my diet. Can you help me?

I want to include beetroot in my daily diet but I do not like its taste. After reading about the health benefits, I surely want to have it regularly. Could anyone please tell me how to include it? Is there any easy recipe with beetroots that is great for the taste buds?
