Subject:  Fear from Crowd
Hi,
I am blessed with twins and they r almost 4 years now.
last year we went for Sridi darshan and when came back second son started stammering. that time we could not understand what can be the reason of this because other than that trip nothing has changed.

even though it hard to see him stammering we tried making him comfortable so that he some how shows some improvement and to some extent we found him improving.

but this month we went for Tirupati darshan and again he started stammering same way he did when we went for Sridi
Darshan. good thing was he told this time that he is afraid of crowd and he said things like \" some aunty uncle will push him and he may fall down and can get hurt\"

even though we know some what the reason of his stammering but dont know what to do other than not taking him to crowd.

we are trying to keep him diverted / busy so that he dont think those incidents which he faced in Sridi and Tirupati which make him restless but i will like to know some ways/ activities which can keep him involved so that he dont think about incidents.
if some one had similar experience, i will request to share and what was done to get rid of it.

Thanks

I don' t think you should encourage people to stay away from whatever frightens them. Otherwise, how are they going to get over their fears? If you are scared of heights, you should try adventure sports like bungee jumping to get over your fear. I' m telling you, this really works. Fear is just what you think and which does not exists. Fear is a barrier to high achievements in life. Fear obstructs you to do thing in your life. If you are bound to fear you are never going to succeed in life. Overcoming fear is a first step towards success.

Subject:  Inherited
Most childhood phobias tend to be inherited from the parents. For example, I have a phobia of snakes. From a young age, my daughter too feels very afraid of snakes just by seeing them on TV. So, I must have passed on my fear to her, unknowingly. Now, we have to find a way to get rid of our fear. It is really difficult to get rid of fear. It needs proper treatment if fear is causing serious problems. Fears can also cause stress. Therefore it is necessary to get rid of fear at the right time.

Subject:  Phobias are normal
I think phobias are a normal occurrence. Everyone experiences a phobia of something or the other. It may be natural or some distinct event that will probably never occur in your life. Lots of people have a phobia about flying. Yet, 90 % of these people have never even been in an aeroplane throughout their life. But I really don’t understand the concept of fear, phobia and child. Dealing with the phobias and fears of child is really difficult. I am confused how to deal with the fear of my child.
