My three year old son has frequent bouts of sore throat. Any change in weather and he is sure to get throat infection. He is unable to eat and drink properly. He becomes irritated and then I have to give him antibiotics. I am very distressed due to this. Is there any natural treatment option?

I understand your helplessness. It is very common for kids to have throat infection at this stage. Try to enhance his immunity by giving him healthy foods and chyavanprash. Give him salt and warm water to drink. Also giving basil leaves juice with honey is helpful

Kids frequently suffer from throat and mouth problems because of low immunity. More often kids are unable to explain their problems. Due to this the infection becomes severe and takes more time for treating.

RE:Thumb sucking
Hi there please do not think so much and just visit a chemist and ask for a liquid solution as there is a solution which needs to be applied on the kids thumb so as he tries to suck it there would be bitter taste and by this he will not suck it again.... - Anushree [View Message]
