Dear Sailaja,

I had uti infection in 21th week. I had fever & pain in my stomach and not able to urinate properly.I went to the doctor and he prescribed me antibiotics and also he suggested me to drink 7-8 glass of water otherwise it could arise again. So drinking lot of water is the best solution and take advice from your doctocr too.

take care

sailaja,

uti could occur due to various reasons. the 2 more common ones being lack of proper hygiene and the fact tht u maynot be taking enough water and fluids.

consult ur gynae , she might want to put u on safe antibiotics. AND TILL THEN AND DURING YOUR ENTIRE PREGNANCY, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER- 12 - 15 GLASSES A DAY..

take care
