Hi all,

I read one of the topics saying about not to take horlicks with milk. I really didn't get this. Would some of you know is it ok to drink horlicks with milk in pregnancy?

i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother's horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...

i really dont understand how someone can say the horlicks or mothers horlicks is not to be taken with milk since i checked the ingredients and directions on the package and it says both these products contains milk solids...

if somebody can correct me if i am wrong i will be glad

Thanks again for your replies. Yes I am taking Horlicks with 2% milk. Also I gained so far 28 pounds and I completed 30 weeks. Hope I can continue on 2 %!!!!

i take horlicks/complan lite in the morning with full fat milk no sugar added.is it ok.some people says lite isnt gud?u can take horlicks with water (not tasty -my personal opinion).better tak with low fat/skim milk
hay 2day i vomited in the morning and since hav been felling a bit giddy.also have a cold.why am i feeling giddy nad out of energy (though i took food)?am i ok

I am not sure about this... What was mentioned in the thread earlier was that we should not mix horlicks with milk if we dont wanna put on weight... Guess the person who wrote about it meant that we should mix it with water and take...
But now you get 1% fat and skim milk too and you can drink it with that...

Trust me I have been drinking bournvita from day 1 of pregnancy and still am doing... I mix it with 2% fat milk... But from next week I plan to take 1% milk as I have already put on 45 lbs which is way more...

I delivered to a baby boy on 7th of August. Came back to work abiut 2 weeks back. Sorry couldn' t update on my status as my Dad suddenly passed during my confinement. Just let all know that the baby is fine he is touching his 3rd month now. His name is Raveen Jared. I had C-Section as he was lying oblique. Thanks to all and to all the new mothers....congrats!
