Hi all,

I read somewhere that in our third trimester we should eat foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids ( fish and omega 3 fortified eggs has it) for baby's barain development. Anybody eating omega 3 enriched eggs? Where can I find it in US? I do not eat fish. Please let me know.

Omega 3 fatty acids(DHA and ARA) are present in organic eggs. You can get it in any food store's organic section.

Hi there,
I eat about 4-5 eggs a week. Don't know how much is required. I am pretty lame at counting the RDAs of stuff. I just eat like I normally do and then take my vitamins...

Hi Jan Mom,
I find these eggs at the gorcery stores or organic food stores like Whole Foods or Trader Joes. They are usually the more expensive ones since they are organic eggs. The box should say something about the Omega3 stuff. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply Maurni. I will check for that in Trader Joes. By the way are you eating those eggs? Do you know how much omega fatty acids pregnant women need? Can I eat those egg daily?

hi all

why all of u r so silent. i know everyone are busy with kids/jobs etc. but still try to rebember this ip site and we all will be in touch sharing the milestones of our kids.
