I an new to the forum, so taking a general suggestion from all parents if possible, there are cloth diapers used abroad, which are like huggies, so they are water proof, absorbant and have a feel dry lining inside. The only difference is the babies dont get rashes from them and they can be washed in the washing machine and each diaper lasts for around 3-5 years (depending on how you use them). The material used to make these diapers is a bit expensive as it is breathable cloth. Each diaper costs around 400 - 600 rupees (depending on plain or printed material and the kind of diaper you want). I am planning to start the business in India as well, I had 7-8 diapers when my baby was born and she is 3 years old now and it costed me around 4,000 rupees all up and I still have these for my next baby which i will start planning very soon.

So pls parents, let me know if a business like this would be a good idea here in India or price would be a big hindrance, as the materials are made in US and they are quite high quality, price is one thing which would be hard to even put down by 50 rupees.

The Indian baby diapers market is dominated by mainly three brands. The first one is Huggies, which is the most preferred brand by many people across the country as well as indian and it has the covered largest market.
