Milestones:Not even creeping yet? help!!!

Name: AJ

Hi,
My daughter will be 8 months old in 10 days. She is sitting without support since she was 6 months old. She rolled over back to tummy at 51/2 months old and since then she only did it twice! She did not roll from tummy to back yet. She hates tummy time. She is struggling to reach out of reach object but she just cries if she can't and looks for my help. No sign of crawling.
My worry is she is not even creeping yet!!!
Her weight was normal during her 6th month check up.
WORRIED MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AJ.

wow when i read this i felt like it was abt my baby... its the same story here.. she's 8 months now..i give her tummy time she nevr like it.. she starts crying.. she fell on her tummy only around 6 months and evr since she did mayb 6-7 times...she doesnt pull up on knees or crawl.. if i make her sit she sits unsupported..even i had frens who's babies r crawling this age.. even i was worried...but i guess we need to give them time and dont push them...atleast they r gaining weight n height correctly.. there shud be no reason to worry then....cheers

Hi,

This should not be the matter of worry as it is absolutely normal for few babies to start crawling soon, some start later. Baby's development is little slow during 6-9 mnths,if they start with teethig. The only wory for a baby less than 1yr shd be his daily activities and his wieght. if both are normal , then it is not the matter to worry.
take care

hi,

as i was reading ur post i was imagining the thgs my baby used to do whn she was tht age .Dont u think they r simply too cute in tht age.my baby is 20 mths nw.i had passed those phases n miss them alot.they r so cute in tht age.

for ur worry, dear AJ theres nothing so serious to worry about.Let babies take their own time n develop their skills. My baby roll over in 7 mth ,till 8 mth she crawled by her 1st birthday she started walking but u knw my dear friend all r activities were fast but her teething was too too late.she got her first teeth in 16 mth.n now she is 20 mth with 4 teeths thts all. i stopped worrying now as no use n m giving her her own time to develop herself.

ur baby will crawl soon no need to worry.take care of her diet n health.

Sonu

She is not teething and crawling yet about
which i am not much concerend as I have read many post here where the babies has these two much later.
My concern is she is not creeping to reach
a object out of reach when placed on tummy! she is trying though...but just get frustrated and cries.(May be because she hates tummy time....?).
When I see my frnds baby of same age...creeping and crawling ....I just wonder why cant she do that??????????????

thanks sonu and sumiti for ur reply!

I ALSO WANT TO KNOW FROM OTHER MOM WHOSE BABIES STARTED CRAWLING....WHERE THEY CREEPING WHEN PLACED ON TUMMY BEFORE CRAWLING?????
please let me know,

Also i want to add that my baby is sitting only when i put her on that position and she is also standing for few sec with support only when i put her in that position!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks,
AJ.
