It seems to be a hi-fi party. I am thinking of wearing a sleeveless gown with a deep V neck, or a transparent saree below navel with a backless blouse. Please suggest...

Good idea! keep your saree at 5-6\" below navel. Apply brown lipstick to your navel.Trim your armpits(don' t shave completely). Expose back to the extent possible. waist chain will enhance your looks. every one will be bowled over by your looks!!!

my comment depends on the assumption that mainly girls r going 2 b around in d party. if i were in your place i' d not only wear saree 5\" below my navel but i' d decorate my navel with henna and add some glitter in my navel as this is going 2 b hi fi party. u can wither keep ur navel xposed all d time by making ur pallu narrow or keep d narrow pallu in such a place dat d visibility of ur navel becomes on and off or wear a super transparent saree covering ur navel but dis would keep ur navel visible. if ur not sure u can try all of dese and send me pics at akimana0 gmail or yahoo.

You can wear saree below navel with low neck blouse. It will suit to parties. apply any glitter in and around navel, it makes you look good and awesome and make sure you navel is exposed.

u can wear nisha...just wear ur sare some inches below ur navel...but do wear only to party and be careful outside....some ppl try to touch it...
