My 4 month old has a lot of hair...I know she will shed some of it. My mom never bothered so I have a lot of hair to deal with. I want to prevent hair by using aata or besan but don't know how. Also what kind of massage oil should I use? I am a new mom...can anybody advise?

My daughter had lot of hair too, I used besan with Malai. Malai moisturizes the skin. I also use Jhonson and Jhonson's baby oil for massage. My daughter loves massage. It calms her down.

Hi Kay!

You dont have to knead it into a dough. Just mix it with a little water and then rub it gently into your baby's skin. I think you should try it on yourself first. Then youll know the consistency and the method.

Hope this helped!

My child din't have a lot of hair but my cousins did and their mom's massaged them. I used mustard oil (lal tail)available in India or in Indian stores outside of India. It stains, so be careful. My MIL told me that atta helps to remove some hair. Sometimes, it is genetics and you really can not do anything about it.
Good luck.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
