How about sparing some more time with kid, interacting with them.
Sometimes, they also get bored playing Games which are normally forced by Parents. How about finding out which Games kid prefers more.
Its a sort of Child study.
Just think about it.
Keep it up.

Look i feel daily outing was also may be prob to us..cause it may not be possible to us or the climate won' t allow us...

if you can affort try to buy more games and dolls

i don' t have baby boy but i think they like to play with trains it can be made by you with dump boxes..(with this they too will try to imagine and try something different).. guns(water guns..etc)cricket, snowball, some laptop..childern clays

another idea is if you have childern in your neighbours, let him play with them...childern need childern, they are their first preference..

and you too can play him..from morn. to evening everything that you want him to do by himself is a play to him.. like brushing, washing hands before eat and bed, arranging all his play items(ask him to count every thing and put them in a basket)

i don' t know your circumstances but where there is a will there is a way...

give him some atta and ask him to kneed and do some shapes...

childern won' t feel any bore in doing same thing but the one who play with him like mom and dad they will feel bore..don' t encourage him like this(bore at home)

daily a bit walk is very very good for health also..

he is 2 and half so you can ask him to you when you are workingout your fats...

somay..first try these..

Niranjan,
if you are able to spend quality time with your boy, then maybe taking him out regularly (in the evenings, say) to a park or a stadium and letting him play anything he likes will give a good boost to his boredom and if he takes a liking for sports, he will start looking out for his evening sessions everyday and can be engaged better during the days. This will also reduce his tv viewing activity which is very harmful in the long run. Games are the best alternatives to him, apart from constructive things like mechanical sets, etc.

Hi Niranjan,
My daughter is going to be 2 very soon.I bought this new book that Tarla Dalal has come out with ie. Activity and cookbook for Two year olds. It has some pretty good ideas to keep your child occupied and also learn at the same time. Do check out this book , I' m sure you will find it useful.

Hi Nishant,

I have a doughter of 4. She really loves when I read fairy tales and imitate the characters. In that way we create a special language between the two of us. I believe it´ s good for her imagination.
