Are you aware of gallstone disorder? Why does an obese have higher risk of gallstones? What treatments are safer for gallstones? Shanthala replied. I agree with all your comments but I think you are more leaning towards only Obese being the reason for gall stones which is not true.

Female, Fourty and Obese
In my case I was Female and neither forty nor obese.
Since I was female and was just then done with pregnancy I had this problem. This has happened not just with me but with many Indian girls who are in my age and not belong to Forty or Obese category.

Shanthala Chetan replied. Obesity is very dangerous we get lots of diseases because of it. Gallstone is also one of it but we can get rid of it with the help of treatments. It is such a small thing but should be treated at the early stages. People who are coping with eat should take care of their diet. They should have food containing fiber. It is very necessary for people affected by gallstone to avoid food high in fat. It is not difficult to have a controlled diet. They should strictly follow the diet for gallstone. It is very critical for obese to take care of themselves as they have higher risk of gallstone. Datta replied. It is better to opt for surgery treatment than non-surgery treatments for gallstone. Surgeries ensure permanent cure of gallstone. There is no assurance that non-surgical treatments will cure the disorder completely. It is regarded that symptoms of gallstones can be seen after the non-surgical treatment also. It is very easy to get rid of gallstones with the help of surgery. Instead of wasting too much of money on doctor several times it is better to get rid of it at once. However surgeries are painful but can be dealt with it.
