Peer Pressure:Concerned about peer pressure
2014-12-05
Name: pallavi To be a part of a group is what every child wants. Now a days, children can do anything to be part of a group. It is very difficult for them to say a ' No' or distance themselves from groups, as there are many groups in a class.A child has to be a part of any of the groups. It is very rare that a child learns good habits from his or her peers, bad habits are learned quickly. Children seldom listen to parents and they take their advice as preaching so avoid heeding. It has become difficult to help kids.

yes teaching a child to say no really helps because if they don't know how to say no then they can fall for what his/her peers are doing be it good or bad. if it is good then it is ok but when it is bad it can harm ur future. we had a neighbor their son get drug addict due to peer pressure as he used to live in hostel for clg days. and now he is all alone not got married. so we should keep an eye on our children's behavior. or else they starts go with the flow and can ruin their lives.
