Name: Ms Kothari I am 8 weeks pregnant . I had chicken pox before I realised I am pregnant ie in 3-4th week.Please advice should I continue or abort.

Hi,

Even i hav gon through the hard phase in my life. I got chicken pox in my 12th week of pregnancy.
I hav consulted many gyn in city who suggested abortion as child abnormality will b known only after delivery.

If its going to b first chicken pox for you then it may affect the baby worse.

Finally we decided to abort and under went MTP in feb 2008

Hope you should have decided by now.

It depends whether you want to keep the child or not. If you don't want, you can simply abort it without telling anybody anything.
