Birth Control:Forgetting taking birth control pills

Name: Saima Rai I had tried using different birth control methods but was not comfortable with most. Female condom was cumbersome and I was afraid of IUD. Now I have started on birth control pill but the problem is that I forget to take the pill. will it affect its potency?

to get the highest effectiveness from birth control pills, it is best to take them at the same time every day. You will not get the desired protection if you miss the dose. Try setting a reminder or alarm for tasking the pill.

The effectiveness of most birth control pills is affected by its frequency. The effectiveness of birth control pills gets altered by taking them late or by missing a dose. If you miss one of more pills, refer to the instructions on the pack. It is better to take the pill at the same time each day.
