Holi is a festival of spring. It is the time when winter ends and summer commences. The significance behind this festival is immense. The time, at which Holi is celebrated, is very crucial with respect to our body. Due to seasonal changes, there is an increase in spread of diseases. In earlier times to save our human body from these dreadful diseases, a tradition of playing Holi with Palash Flower was followed. The social significance of Holi is seen in the form of the message of unity and brotherhood. The cultural significance of Holi is that its origin derives reference from various mythological tales.
