I think making your own scrapbook sounds great but it is a waste of time and energy. why not simply buy a scrapbook from the store/ Then you can decorate it in whatever way you like.

Subject:  Scrapbooks are fun
I think having a scrapbook is a lovely idea. Plus, it sounds like a great activity to make your own scrapbook. This is something you can sit with your child and do. I usually save the pictures of trips that our family takes. I think I will make a scrapbook and put all the pictures in them.

Subject:  Nothing new
Creating your own scrapbooks is not a new phenomenon. In the olden days, parents had to make their children' s scrapbooks themselves. It is only recently that we have started to get scrapbooks readymade from the stores. Whichever stores I have gone to, the scrapbooks have not been all that great.

Subject:  Good idea
I was thinking of buying a readymade scrapbook for my daughter' s baby pictures. However, after reading this article, I have decided that it would be more fun if I were to personally create a scrapbook for her. This way, she will be very happy when she grows up.

RE:Reading Newspapers
How old is your kid as it depends on the age of the child and one cannot force a five year old to read the newspaper so if your child is above ten years then yes you should ask him or her to read the newspaper daily.... - Aditi [View Message]
RE:Reading Newspapers
I think you should not force a child to read a newspaper as this is not necessary at all and one must avoid it so please do not force your child and make sure you let enjoy your child in what he is happy in doing.... - Anju [View Message]
