Subject:  Develop good sleeping habits
Parents can help to develop good sleeping habits by setting a bedtime ritual or routine. A story session or book reading is a very good bedtime ritual. Discouraging too much activity during bedtime helps in prevailing calmness and thus aiding sleep. Brushing, soothing music are other activities that promote sleep.

The cause of sleep problems in kids vary. The main cause is an irregular sleeping pattern. Setting a bedtime routine helps to counter this problem. Common causes are late night sleeping, too much computer or television time, or some inherent fear that prevents sleeping.

Subject:  sleeping mistakes by parents
The common causes of sleeping problems in kids are usually self inflicted by the parents. Parents should try to set a sleep schedule and a proper bedtime routine.Parents should discourage late night sleeping pattern and activities close to bedtime. common mistake that parents make is swinging the child to sleep in the arms, and when they let the child sleep on bed, he wakes up causing sleep disturbances.
