yes your chances of having a normal delivery are quite high. this is the perfect position for a normal delivery. There are other factors that also affect delivery. Keep in touch with your doctor

My baby was in cephalic position but i had a prolonged labour. I always knew that cephalic position was the the best position for a baby to be born normally but still my prolonged labour made me rethink my decision for a c-section. My doctor did not do c-section and i had a normal deliver. so do not go by the position, better go by the expertise of the doctor.

cephalic position does a in a way determine type of normally but it is not a sure shot way of determining. Each situation is unique and can only be addressed by a qualified birthing specialist. Cephalic position is the position for normal delivery.

RE:C-Section
C-sections are planned when the mother wishes to escape the labor pain or in emergencies like if the cord is entangled around the baby's neck and the baby's life is at risk. But i think natural delivery is always a better option.... - Neeta [View Message]
