I am 32 yrs old & am into 26th week of pregnancy. Three weeks back level III test showed good growth. But now my doctor after examining me told that the growth is not proper. So, she prescribed Gestin (Allylestrenol tablets) & Ensule plus capsules (for two weeks) alongwith Iron & Calcium supplements. After two weeks she'll again review the growth, otherwise ask me to undergo Ultrasound test. I want to know whether Gestin (5 mg thrice a day) is safe. There is another doubt which arised due to the fact that three weeks earlier also she doubted the growth, but it came out well in the level III ultrasound test. Please guide me as I am worried & confused.

hi neela,
seems you are un-necessarily worried. If ultrasound scan has shown good growth, then all is okay. Your baby will be healthy and for that it is important that you remain happy and not worried.
