Postpartum health care is very essential. The tips given in the article are very good. New mothers should always consult their doctor before starting any exercise regimen after their delivery. Yoga is very beneficial after delivery to get back in shape. However, do not start hectic exercise of yoga regimen immediately just consult your doctor before you start. You can just start with meditation post pregnancy.

It is very necessary to take right care after the birth of the baby. Having right diet after delivery is very essential to increase the supply of breast milk. It is very essential to give breast milk to baby for at least six months. After six months baby can have dalia along with breast milk.

According to Indian and particularly Maharashtrian tradition, the woman have to eat methi ladoos or ladoos made using fenugreek seeds. New mother can eat ' Dink' ladoos also. Fenugreek seed ladoos taste little bitter but Dink ladoos taste very good. Both the ladoos are good for increasing milk supply and good for the health of new mother.
