I was looking for feedback on Eurokids school - south extn branch.

Also, any suggestions on good play schools in the jor bagh/lodhi road/defence colony/khan market area would be sincerely appreciated.

I completly agree. I got my daughter out of mothers pride in 2 days. It is just hyped brand. I have got some good comments from parents for Idiscovery in sector46. I will go there on saturday and keep you posted. We can try together to go and negotiate for good price as monthly fee right now for I discovery is Rs 3600 which is fairly high.

Can you tell me if idiscovery also has a daycare ?

My two year old daughter is going to Mother' s Pride Gurgaon, she supposedly goes to the play school in the morning and stays there in the day boarding till late evening. Even I find that the standard of both the play school and dayboarding below par. The only reason for me to continue sending my kid there is that she is well settled there.
One day i received a call from her class teacher saying that my kid is not expressive at all, when I asked her how did she conclude it, her reply was that altough your kids talks a lot and very clearly communicates, and she is the most talkative kid in the class, but still she feels that the kid is not expressive enough. The teacher started the conversation in ENglish and then came down to Hindi.
The washroom of the dayboarding stink and so many kids are crampped in the dayboarding section in the daytime when hardly any parents come to see thier ward.
I strongly feel that no parent should put thier child in Mother' s Pride. Atleast I have no pride in sending my kid there

You might want to explore the possibility of taking your daughter out of MP and put her into another preschool...she will not take any time to get settled (not to worry!), if it is a good preschool. I am an ex-parent of ibambini preschool and had earlier put my son in one of these fancy schools..he had eventually started hating the mention of the word ´ school.´ But the warm and affectionate staff put him completely at ease...and to top it off, the vast greenery around the spacious building made him physically ´ very active and happy.´ Now I have a tough time explaining to him why we have ´ school holidays...! :) I am amazed at this transformation..and I can see in his eyes that he simply loves going to school and his teachers. You might want to explore the option. All the best

I totally agree with you .Mother´ s pride is absolutely crappy . I believe they have some 700 students in their playschool....can u believe that?

I am sending my son only to the daycare .Lookining out for alternatives . Ibambini has started a daycare.the staff out there seem really good .I am considering my options now.ALso let me know if you come across other places as well.I want to do some real good research before I make a final decision.

After putting our son in Mothers Pride, we were called for a Presentataion after 2 months. We were quite excited and we thot we shall be finding out how our sonny boy is doing. Do our utter dismay we found ourselves sitting thru a Power Point Presentataion(can u blv that!!!) telling us how to bring up our child lovingly.
UTTER CRAP!!!
Since when have Mom' s got to learn how to love their child and bring up their child from Power Point Presentataions???? That too the PPT' s being delivered by young girls who are not mothers them selves, and don' t know how a mother' s heart beats for the child. They are just SO NOT CONNECTED with the children who are coming to them.
They are doing telemarketing like \" Do u have a child , We have a Play school \" in line with \" Do u need a loan\" from ICICI, Citibank telemarketers.

I abosolutely agree with you. I have put my son into a Gurgeon playschool in the Suncity World School after doing a lot of research on playschools here.
I dont know how good this school is, but about MP, I came to know about it when they had hosted a baby show in Gurgaon as a marketting stunt when thry were opening the school. Tell me, why does a preschool need to host a baby show? And then the participant parents had to go for counselling session where they marketed their school and gave huge concession for admitting a baby for later. Lol.
With the teachers hired at that time, we too had same experience of speaking in English.

btw, anybody has any feedback for suncity world school?
