Hi, I have a 7 yrs old daughter now we are planning for a second baby. I feel there is too much of age gap but still love to have another baby. Do anyone think this age gap between kids will create any problem in future. I really wish to know your feelings towards this. bye

Hello puja
It is never too late if you wish to have a second baby as long as you are physically and mentally prepared. As for me it will be all the more easy as your daughter has become more or less independant So you can give full attention to your new born.As my children are only 2 years apart I am going through a tough time managing both.

My younger sister and I have a 6.5 yr age gap. I dont really recollect how we were as youngsters am sure we fought like any other siblings, but at least over the last 10-12 yrs our relationship has been great --Even though I now have a baby of my own, I still consider her the first baby of our family. And its not as if she is overshadowed by me or something -- she has her own personality, and is a wonderful person, mature and hardworking and sensitive. I think there is nothing wrong in that age gap, as long as you feel confident in yourself. In some families with many children, there is an age gap of tens of years between the first and the last, so I dont think it is strange.

why would you even think that 7 years is too much of a gap? look at couples all around you... they are easily 7 years age difference between many of them. and if they can live happily ever after, why should you think children wont get along? and the older they grow, the lesser the age gap will matter. dont even think! go for it!

I will definetly let you all know once I get pregant. I am right now 31 years old may be because of the age I might take little long time to conceive. Please pray for me.
