Many of the most successful people in life have never been to college. Thomas Edison and George Washington are some of the examples.

It is natural to compare oneself with people around and feel inadequate at times. But this feeling can be used for one´ s downfall as depression or be used as weapon to try and show them what you can do in life even without the education that they were lucky enough to have.

I think one of the major motivations in life comes out of other people telling you that you cant do something. You have not yet explored all that you can do, and once you start on that path, trust me you will be unstoppable!

All the very best.

I think we really ignore this problem easily. Sometimes even I hide it when I am sad. I have a team of 40 people working under me and believe me the stress levels are really high. With such busy lives not many even know that they might be suffering from depression. At times I feel fatigued and face an energy decrease. I smoke a lot to beat the stress but I guess I may be wrong. I don' t have the time to meet friends and family is also ignored. I wish to know more on effects of depression. I will definitely make a few changes in my life now.

This is an informative piece. My daily life is full of pressures. I am a diabetic and am usually worried about the rise in my insulin levels. Though doctors advice that I must exercise and follow a certain diet. Staying alone in Delhi it becomes a little difficult to do so. I miss my family and I do not like telling them about what I go through and feel. I think I will fix up an appointment with a psychiatrist soon. I always felt that only those with extreme mental problems visit psychiatrists. But I guess beyond talking to my friends taking professional help for sharing my problems may give me some relief. Hope to read more on Depression.

I think I have been depressed since a long time. I am an event manager and I don' t think i even have the time to think. Although I keep getting bouts of feeling blue I never pay attention. I just tell myself it is a bad day. But now I feel I need a break to help me. Its time I checked my mental status before I crash.
