Baby Sitters and Creches:preschool for 2 yr 4 mth old at whitefield
2008-06-17
Name: Rekha I seriously & urgently need help in identifing a good preschool for my son in and around whitefield.I prefer a preschool so that he would learn something during the day.
I have heard the follwoing names from people..eurokids,we care, tom &jerry...not sure which one to pick up.I will have to be at work from 8am-5pm.
We care is a new school but they charge 6000 per month.is it worth that much money?Do eurokids keep children for the entire day?

Please advise

I personally would recommend Neev. They have about 03-04 branches in Bangalore. One at White field as well. Its the best your kid could afford to have in Bangalore.

I visited Neev whitefield, looks like they have good methodology for teaching but looks too crowded for the space and no. of kids (120 as I heard) they have. Classrooms are congested with racks and shelves, hardly any space to move around. One more thing which i noticed is admin staff and center head showed too much of arrogance.
Then I visited Kephee preschool in AECS layout and really impressed by their way of handling kids and teaching methodology (they are also following multiple intelligence method as neev). Their building looks very specious compared to other schools in the area. I heard that director (IIT alumni) is conducting effective parenting workshops in some of companies and in their campus. This preschool is surely going to be a bigger name within months. I strongly recommend this preschool for parents who stay in around Aecs layout, marathahalli, whitefield.

You are right Nutan...As per my experience I just found we care is not a good school for our little one.As a mother I always expect my kid should not feel that she is away from home after going to school. That is only possible if teacher is very close to a kid. That is only possible if the teacher spends everyday some time with the kid. This is not at all possible in WE CARE ,because here teachers leave the job within a month or 2 months. So our small kids always has to see new faces all the time. My kid too learned talk in English and Hindi after he joined to pre school within 6 months of time. For me important is that my kid should feel that she is with the safe hand. I just felt in We CARE lots of politics going on within their management and teachers. They just fired high educated teachers and the reason is politics...I heard this from two of the teachers who left jobs in we care....So bye bye WE CARE....

Dear Rekha,
If u r planning to put your little one in We Care, then this is not at all a right place. They try to impress parents with the toys that they got from US (Which also we get it in India) and with their specious class rooms.Believe me I was with them few months so I have experienced it.People like Reshma and Sonal hire teachers who r not well qualified ,they wants someone who work for them 6 to 10 hours for very less salary. What I wants to say is that they charge heavily but poor quality of education.Reshma is also a heartless lady that I have ever seen in my life.\" More u pay,More quality u get\" is not true here. The logo \" We Care\" doesn' t apply here for your kids, that applies for your money.

I have had a very positive experience with WeCare. The centre is very professionally managed. The teachers and staff are great people and the management is very hands on. What impressed me the most: awesome infrastructure, cleanliness and yummy food. The facilities are the best I have ever seen. I give WeCare a FIVE STAR rating.
