Oh the comments are so funny. Kids can inject humour anywhere. Even in a solemn temple or a high mountain. And you can' t hate them for it! Fact is, if you are really eager to visit a place, go there twice once with he kids and once alone or with partner. They will be two totally different experiences. And both worthwhile.

Last year I went to Pondicherry, it was a long awaited dream come true. I am deeply influenced by Sri Aurobindo and was looking forward to a divine experience.

But my dream was shattered by the children of tourists who made such a commotion and destroyed the peace of the place. This should not happen. REsponsible parents hsould prevent their kids from troubling others

i think the presence of kids in one' s life necessarily influences they way we spend our holidays. for some of us, this can come as a rude shock to realise that we may never be able to take a real ' adventure' holiday again - at least for a very verry long time.

The only other option is to go without the kids and that is not fair (not always possible also)

they roughed it out better than me and my husband. if you bring up your kids to love roughing it out on holidays, belive me there game for it

what i do is involve my kids in planning and i pre-book places in the evening that are kid-friendly. sometimes when there is a boring destination, better to leave them at an entertainment park under supervison

Took my kid to the Bahai temple. And instead of keeping quiet he started drumming onthe benches and when asked to be quiet he threw a tantrum. If thats not bad enough other kids who were visiting with their families started to follow suit.

did you know? travelling with babies is the easiest. Just maintain feeding and sleeping schedule. Book a clean ac compartment and they don' t give any trouble. I went for my goa trip post-maternity and it was so easy-my husband was worrying so much.

the best thing is to choose an appropriate location. if the resort has a park, you can leave the kids to play there while you sit in peace atthe beach. the children should e occupied in some way. else they will be bored.

Kids can ruin any holiday. They make noise and throw things and upset the peace and order. Kids should play on their own. parents should go alone if they want to find peace from work.

Bet you never actually did it. Otherwise you would know that the Gameboy sells for 6000, the PSP for 10k. Games are expensive for these platforms at 3k. But your solution targets only boys mostly so what do you have up your sleeve for girls?

Depends on how weel behaved your kids are and how you brought them up. Ive seen a fmaily with realy well brought up and responsible kids they have no problems when going on vacations that the parents cant deftly handle. So its about you and not your kids. Stop blaming them

Stayed here May/Jun 2005. Ideal location for us. Room more than adequate as we took our 9 year old grandson. The breakfasts were plentiful and set us up well until lunchtime.
