Hi, this is a nice article on benefits of eggs. Regarding cholesterol, I saw an australian programme, which researched and showed that consuming eggs actually increases HDL, which is the good cholesterol thebody and hence beneficial for people with health problems if taken in moderate quantities. It is saturated fats that is harmful for them

Eating an egg is definitely beneficial for your health. Egg is the great source of all types of amino acids which are beneficial for health in all ways. I think an egg contains higher level of proteins than any other food item. I usually make an egg drop soup. It is very easy to make. You just have to make a normal vegetable soup. At the end beat the egg and pour it into the soup. You soup will be tasty and healthy too. But be careful while buying a egg. Only buy fresh eggs. You can easily find out whether egg is fresh or not by looking at its colour.

I would like to share an important tip related to eating an egg. Do not eat egg white without cooking it. Consuming raw egg white is not a great idea. The better way to consume egg whites is to cook them. You can cook egg whites in whichever way you like. You can poach them, fry them hard boil them. Egg yolk has higher quantity of proteins than egg white. What you need to cook egg is just salt and pepper. In addition you can add onions, tomatoes and coriander leaves. If you want to make you omelet tasty layer it with cheese. You can also add capsicum in your omelet.

Eggs make a good breakfast. In the morning I do not get enough time to prepare breakfast for my school going kids. So I usually make omelets or otherwise I boil eggs. So it takes less time to prepare breakfast. The good point is though it takes less time to make any egg recipe, the recipe is very healthy. My son likes boiled eggs while my daughter prefers half-boiled with a pinch of salt and pepper sprinkled on it. My husband likes to eat raw egg with the milk. Eating raw egg with the milk is very nutritious food. According to an egg a day will keep doctor away.
