C-Section:Question to ladies for C-Section and Normal delive
2003-12-03
Name: Husband

Hi All Ladies,
I got recently married, 28 years of age. I would like to ask having child birth by normal means will it affect sex life. Let me be little straight as the vagina becomes bigger the charm of tight is lost. Rather in C-section except the scar the pleasure is same as before I believe. What is your opinion and comments, ladies!!!

I've had both C-section and normal, and I can tell you one thing- from a woman's point of view, the sense of achievement you feel in giving birth naturally, nothing can beat it! Nothing!
I'd prefer a natural birth any day! As for sex, kegel exercises are there anyway!

I can't believe that you would risk your wife's life and your babies life for the act of pleasure. Take it from me, a mother who has had a c-section and is about to have another... I would rather have a natural birth any day, no matter what the \";sexual consequences\";... I think it is very selfish of you to ask major surgery of your wife just to preserve pleasure on your behalf... Really, if you truely want to show your wife that you love her, support her in experiencing the rewarding and cherishable memory of natural childbirth... I can guarantee that having a baby is by all means more satisfying then any sexual encounter!!!

I am inclined to agree with MsStunned, it is pretty selfish that a male, would want to have his wife go through all that just because of his sexual pleasures. I have had 3 c-sections, am pregnant again and would probably have to have another c-section and I would love to experience a natural birth whether it stretches you or not!

RE:C-Section
C-sections are planned when the mother wishes to escape the labor pain or in emergencies like if the cord is entangled around the baby's neck and the baby's life is at risk. But i think natural delivery is always a better option.... - Neeta [View Message]
