Many children find maths difficult. It is not necessary that every one will face math dyslexia or dyscalculia. Most of the students hate mathematics subject. I used to hate it too. My tutor made it easier for me by teaching me the methods in detail and in better way. It is only the way of teaching which makes difference in learning. Each child has intelligence but the way of teaching should also suit the child. Parents should try different ways of teaching child and find the best way. This will help to hold the right nerve and make the child learning easier.

Every child has different way of learning things. If a dyscalculic child is taught mathematics in different way he will be able to learn it. The problem is firstly the parents and most of teachers are unaware about dyscalculia. Because of this parents and teachers keep children threatening as they score low marks in a particular subject. Parents should try to find out the reason behind the child’s disability as in most of the cases it can be dyscalculia. Parents and teachers should be made aware about dyslexia disorder by the school in the beginning.

Subject:  my child has difficulty in math
My child has difficulty in math but he does not have dyscalculia. I am scared that he might get dyscalculia in future. He finds difficult to solve simple problems but he is good in other subjects. His overall score is lowered because of low marks in mathematics. I am very worried about him. Some techniques mentioned in the article are good. I will try them and see whether there is improvement or not. I also send him for extra classes but it is of no use. His IQ is also normal I do not know what is wrong with my child. I have lots of expectations from the techniques mentioned. I hope that they work.
