I had colour doppler done yesterday and AFI is 24.5 cm. It was only 13cm on 27th dec 08. I dont understand how the fluid content has slightly increased. I am in my 38th week now.I am worried that it will have any effect on the baby. I have done anomaly scans, fetal echo and colour doppler before 8 th month and it was all normal. My doc says not to worry since baby is okay as per the scan. But since the fluid is more than adequate i am a little worried. Can any one till if i shuld be worried or not?

its nt more its on the borderline chk ur sugarlevels once... my levels were 32 on my 28th week chk up and wth a constant monitering wth insulins in 4 weeks time it ws 13 also ur nearing ur due so no need to worry ..if ur doc feels its more u might b indused at the more ..u r nt harming ur baby wth the fluid bt definitly by ur unwanted worry ..
so sit back and relax.. soon ur night sleeping will b going and u will hv no time to worry
so chill n relax
