Your baby had cough already and if you feed him any sweet item would cough will never increase.Why don't you prefer any ayurvedic medicine like milk with some pepper haldi.It would cure the cough so fastly.It works also. My Daughter is 10 months old.She never get heavy cough.
So make this a point that in winter or during season change,do the following:
1.Use \" Vekhanda Powder\" to put on babies chest & back after bath.(Apply it as we use baby' s powder)
2.Spread a little amt of Eukeliptus\" Nilgiri \" oil on baby' s bed, if she ever feels nose choked or cough a llittle.
3.Give honey+turmeric 5-6 times a day to ur baby .Just make a paste of the two, and aply it on ur finger and let them to suck. This way u can give it 5-6 times a day.

I hope if u keep these points in mind, ur baby would not suffer from cough n cold anymore.
Its better to take precaution rather then going for any treatment.

We have all been kept awake by our own or someone else' s cough. Try this and pass it on. The tip and not the cough. ANYTHING is better than antibiotics. Even babies could benefit from this and the parents wouldn' t worry about the safety of their child. And of course, it is harmless and free from any type of side-effects.
