Buddha Purnima is celebrated with great devotion in my area. On the eve of Buddha Purnima, all my building friend and ladies gather together to have a small prayer session after which we all visit Buddha Vihar. In the Buddha Vihar, we all light candles and seek blessings of Lord Buddha. It is very peaceful to visit Buddha Vihar on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.

On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, we have a small gathering in our society compound. All the people following Buddhism in our building come together and worship Lord Buddha. After the prayer session we have a small function on this occasion where teachings of Lord Buddha are preached.
