I find laptops are too expensive. Plus you cannot use them for a long time. You have to replace your laptop after only a few years. Then what is the point of wasting so much money? It is better to invest in a good personal computer instead.

Buying a laptop will also depend on how much experience you have with the computer. Laptops can be quite complicated as compared to the average desktop. I would only recommend them for advanced users.

Nowadays, I see so many parents buying laptops for their children. I don't see the point in this. Are your children so caught up in their work that they need a personal laptop? Laptops are become like toys nowadays. Plus, the parents will no longer be able to monitor what their children are up to.

In our cities, there is no real point in having a laptop. It will simply get stolen. Also, how are you going to carry it around the place? It is okay if you have your own car but if you have to travel by public transport, then you definitely cannot be carrying such a heavy object everyday.
