Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

Hi,
My gynae has referred me to this doctor in Prashant hospital. Just noticed my hubby has low motility (40 instead of 50) and the normal sperms are only 2 (instead of 30).
Am going to this doctor for treatment now.
But am very depressed. I dont want to get emotionally weak, but feel bad when I see kids (we have been TTC for over 2 years now). Have been trying to deviate my mind. Pls tell me what to do?
Also, how expensive is IUI and IVF ?
If we are asked to go for IUI / IVF, should we get a second opinion from some other doctor?

Swati sss replied. I had 3 iui failed at prasanth. then i was diagonalised with bilateral tubal block. So nobody to blame. She is a good doctor and she does the IUI personally for all the patients. After the IUI, take complete rest.
Now i have planned for an ICSI with doctor next month...

I can understand what emotions you must be going through in the quest of having a baby. I am sure god has planned a healthy babay for you..and the wait will be worth it. Pls try to keep up the positive spirit as that will help you in all endeavours.
We have also been trying to conceive for almost 15 month now to no avail. I have been through a cycle of IUI and the total cost 7-8000 along with the cost of follicle monitoring ultrasounds, semen preparation and medications. Pls fell free to personal message meif you have any other questions.
