While you ' can' travel and fly with a two-week-old baby, it doesn' t mean that you should.you should limit a newborn' s and younger infant' s exposure to large groups of people so that they don' t get sick. Traveling through a crowded place would likely expose the child to viral illnesses and other infections, which is the main issue about safe travel with a baby. it is best to wait until the baby is older, with a more mature immune system and then travel.

I have traveled many times with my newborn and toddlers. you can ask to be placed with an empty seat next to you and put your baby in the carseat leaving your arms empty during the flight. I believe if your baby is healthy you have nothing to worry about.

When you fly with a baby, you want everything to go the way it' s supposed to and you increase your chances if you' re on the first flight of the day. the only way to safely fly with an infant is to book a separate ticket and bring the baby' s car seat. It' s a common myth that children are supposed to suck on take-off and landing. I made sure my children were safely strapped into their car seats for both and we never had any ear problems.
