I love orange marmalade. It is a bit bitter but I like it that way. My grandmother would always tell my mom to give me orange juice when I had a cold. I never understood why. But I guess now I know. I think nature loves us and has made the best arrangements for us to live a happy life. And look at us we ignore it, we are fussy and suffer at the end.

All the things that are produced have some or the other benefits for us. If only we cut on down artificial stuff and follow the natural path we can have better lives. It is really amazing that diabetes is prevalent mostly in middle and upper middle class. The lower strata of society suffering from diabetes may be insignificant.

But imagine why? Because they don' t eat like the middle and upper middle class. If we read newspapers we will see that the victims of lifestyle disease are mostly the well-off.
This is a point to think about. We are eating junk like never before and ignoring the goodness of fruits and vegetables. We may not deprive ourselves but we shouldn' t make fast food consumption excessive. Anything in excess is bad. Excessive vitamins and being too health conscious can also be bad. All we have to do is create a balance and try to eat natural.

I started eating oranges a month ago. It has made a great difference in my life. I eat atleast three a day. When I am out with my friends I go for orange juice instead of shakes and mousse. I do not add sugar in my glass of juice.

Within a week I was feeling energized and fresher. I stopped feeling like having tea in office. I am more alert and I do not feel sleepy. My skin looks refreshed too. I do not have indigestion problems anymore.

And the smell of orange makes me feel so good. Mmmmm. It is really great. I was really amazed at myself that how did I survive all these years without oranges. The solution to so many health problems was right in front of me in my house, drying away. I would not care.

I spent so much on cosmetics and beauty treatments. But ignored the real natural remedy. I wish I had discovered what oranges could do earlier and would be saved of so many problems. For those who still aren' t eating enough fruits please do so, it really can change your life.

I remember when I was a kid I would deliberately squirt the orange peel into my friends eye. We would always stay away from anyone peeling an orange. My mom would say it clears your eye. I don' t know how, because it stings big time.

I think I don' t have any fruits in my diet. I hardly have any fruits. I am crazy about mangoes. Aam rass is wow. But I feel it is important to eat fruits after reading this.

Sometimes I think our ancestors lived longer and disease free, since they largely ate fruits. We have so many junk food options that we do not care and then complain about health problems. I have friends who are so young and have health problems like hypertension and what not.

I think I don' t want to reach that stage and will incorporate more fruits into my diet. I think it is really important.
