My baby girl 1 Month and 7days old, passes a lot of gas and most of time stool too along with the gas. She cries a lot before that and faces much more problem during night time. We are giving her \";Bonnisan\"; but not much gain. (She is on breast feeding). Please suggest what to do. We are in New Delhi.

- Sachin Another Mom replied. Try gripe water. It worked really well for my baby. Pooja replied. hi, I faced the same problem. My child was very colicy. My paed also advised colic aid. though he was totally against water, so i didnot give ajvain water until my son turned 6 months.
Trying putting your baby ( on her stomach) on top of you and lie down slanting. the pressure on the stomach helps release the gas and comforts the baby. it worked a lot in my son's case. every time he used to cry, i used to do that and after some time he used to be fine.
i even started putting him to sleep on his stomach (though doctors don't agree to that) when he was 1 1/2 months old only in my presence. that helped too. Anupama Verma replied. My child used to face these probs. but it get better when she started to rollover but mean time u can give her colic aid(a medicine drops) and some agvine water.u could even apply some hing boiled in water(like paste) on the childs navel.
