Hi Pinki,

Congrats on ur pregnency. I read your concern. Actually nothing is very serious about this situation and its very common. as u are 22 months pregnent the actual growth period is about to kick of. with the growing baby the the uterus will grow in size and the placent will automaticaly move up. Even if it moves up by 2-3 cm( which it normally does) it will be perfectly alright. But yes don' t beacome care less you will have to take some precautions very religously. 1. No intercourse unless next ultra sound reveals the position of placenta. 2. Avoid exssive excersing people might recommend but for pregnency with lower placenta only mild excercis is recommended like a leisure walk for 15-20 mins or mild yoga. Do not eat food with very warm tendency e.g no almonds, papaya, pineapple etc. In cases of Pregnency with lower placenta there is a possiablity of slight bleeding. always ensure that you comunicate youre doctor in case u notice any discharge. That should be it.

Regarding constipation again it common thing to happen in pregnency and nothing to worry about but best avoided as it beacomes an issue in later stages of pregnency. Eat food stuff with lots of fibers eg. lots and lots of fruits, Veggies, salads, hell lot of water at least 12 glases a day atleast. Nooooooo to low fiber stuff mainly Maida e.g No white bread take whole wheat bread, have tandori roti instead of Nan. I hope u got my point.

Rest every thing shall be fine. Morning sickness must be over by now or is about to end. have a very happy pregnency. Enjoy yourself and be as happy as you can.

Hi,

I am expecting my second baby right now and mother of a 3 yr old baby girl.I had the same LOW PLACENTA when I was pregnant first time.We came to know about it at 20th week U/S and the dod told the placenta moves up by itslef in most of the cases. That' s what happened and evrything was normal at 30th week U/S.I had a normal delivery with a healthy babygirl.

So don' t worry about it and be normal. No need to diet or control food.
