Durga Pooja done during Navratri days is very auspicious. These nine days are very holy and signify nine form of Goddess Durga. Whoever worships Goddess Durga during these nine days gets lot of blessings from her. Her presence can be felt during these days. It is very necessary to avoid eating non-veg during these nine auspicious days so that Goddess Durga bestows her blessings on you.

I like to do Navratri Puja very much. I fast during nine days by only eating fruits. It gives a very good feeling when you fast during these nine days. Fasting during nine days of Navratri helps to cleans your mind body and soul. It is a very good way to cleanse ones own self.
