One of the best features of Gauri Pujan is that Phugdi and Zimma are played at night. Women are in traditional wear and they also wear traditional jewellery, all of them look very beautiful and as if they are Avtars of Goddess Gauri. I remember a typical Phugadi line which says \" Phu Bai Phu Phugadi Phu\" and \" Amba Pikato, Ras Galato, Kokan Cha Raja Zhimma Khelto\"

Subject:  Mangala Gauri
The good thing about this festival of Managala Gauri is that women prepare lot of food items and sweets on this day. It is very nice and delicious and tastes very auspicious as Goddess Gauri bestows her blessings on it. This festival is full of fun and positive energy emitted by Goddess Gauri who is mother of God Ganesha.

Gauri Pujan is nothing but Parvati Pujan. Parvati is a Goddess who is mother of Lord Ganesha who is worshiped during Ganesha Chaturthi. This festival is full of fun and enjoyment for women as they play lot of traditional games and sing songs at night. They also sing traditional songs during Mangala Gauri or Parvati Pujan. I like this kind of celebration very much.
