hi,
i'm married for 4yrs and have a 3yr old kid.i have a problem which is making me feel very bad about myself.problem is that after my delivery i have started tro loose interest in sexual life!ad as days have passed by its increasing and i alwys try to avoid my hubby when he approches me!i really donno whts the problem.i really feel sorry for my hubby as i know he too is dpressed and gets annoyed at times with my behaviour.i really want to satisfy him as i love him,but i never find the interets in sex anymore.can say we just have it once a month or so!!have any of you gone thru such satge after having a kid,or is it a problem i'm having.please help me with your advices or solutions,as my hubby now have started feeling that i hvae no love for him anymore and thats the reason i avoid sex.sometimes just to make him happy i agree to make love,but i never enjoy it then and it also hurts!please help me friends.

hi saloni,

your worry is the same with 40% of women who have given birth to a child opposite her sex. the reasons are psycho-sexual. the only remedy is to have your husband near you when you nurture your child and concentrate (meditatively, setting your mind on your husband and not the suckling child)on your husband and giving him the love you have for him. let your husband feel he is loved and this will not only make him feel loved, you will also rebond the lost bond with your husband. indians sometimes find it wierd to the reason of such loss of interest in sexual life after giving birth to a child. that is the reason why i dont state the clinical reasons behind it.

as simple as that: you know you are avoiding him and you also love him, then why not make up your mind and let yourself go? try just once nad ask him to do nicer things to you and you will regain whats lost. keeping the energy on is very important. if you 'were' a person who enjoyed physical intercourse, you wouldn't find it difficult to give yourself away to your husband right now.

saw ur adivce,and really thanking you for it.i know its a mistake i'm doing by avoiding my husband.as you said i think i have to make up my mind and get closer and interact with him,and try to regain and strengthen our physical bond too,as i know physical relation is very important too in a marriage to go smooth.hope i can chnage my behaviour towards him soon.once again thanx a lot friend.
