HI priya,

My daughter had same problem of lactose intolerance. Now she is 5 years and she is perfectly alright. she is ok by 2 years. Actually this problem come because the liver is not able to digest the lactose content in the milk. Dont worry there are lot of alternate foods available which will give the same amount of strength. Just take care of his diet. You can give him yoghurt. Instead of milk you can soya milk like Zerolac and prosobee.

Like peter said please tell us the other allergies which makes you feel upset so that we can help you out.

Everey thing will be alright its just a matter of time.
Bye
swathi

Subject:  Details
Hi Priya,

Firstly you need to list out all the problems your son is facing. You did mention about Lactose and you also did mention others. This will not help. To give you a proper solution you need to list out the following.

- Age of your Son
- All the allergies or intolerance he has
- His feeding frequency and what all is he fed at what time
- What medicines he is prescribed by his doc
- how frequently he false ill, fever, diarrhea etc and how frequent you visit the doctor.

Please provide all these details to help people give you a solution. If you do not give the complete details, nobody will know what your kid is going through and will prescribe solution which wont be of any use. So go ahead and send in the details.

Regarding the worry part. Stop worrying as that will not help you nor your son. If worries and Hopes helped people, then all of us would be living a happy life without problem. If you are still not convinced then take a day off and go to your room and sit and worry for the whole day. evening you can come out and see if anything has changed :).

So lets work out what action and ways we can help you and your kid overcome this. Be happy that you have a problem. Because you are going to find a solution for it and that will help your kid and also other kids in the society.

So go ahead and send the details.

Cheers!

Pete

RE:Pediasure for 5 year old.

RE:Consticipation for 4 years old
This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
Also, my usual comment - use a child-size glycerin suppository if he's gone for two or more days without doing a do.... - Suzanne [View Message]
