Some children are naturally picky and your over attention over this problem must be making it worse. My children are also fussy eaters and are small built from birth. I used to fuss over their eating hoping to make them stout and this had backfired. I serve them well balanced meals with salad, fruits, yogurt etc and let them eat what they choose.I serve them snacks only at tea time and at midmorning if at home. I dont serve any snacks upto 2 hours before meals. If they dont eat well at mealtime and are so are hungry shortly afterwards,I give them fruits or a boiled egg. Above all I try not to worry too much about their eating. Children balk at food when fussed too much. This method takes time but in a matter of 1 month the children do improve their eating. You should also check if she is anaemic and if so ask your doctor to suggest a suitable mineral supplement.

RE:Consticipation for 4 years old
This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
Also, my usual comment - use a child-size glycerin suppository if he's gone for two or more days without doing a do.... - Suzanne [View Message]
