Fear of Pregnancy – Tokophobia:living in fear

Name: Sneha

I read a book on pregnancy do' s and don' ts. After that I literally became paranoid. I was constantly checking labels and made sure to avoid eating natural cheese or consuming much caffeine. I lived much of the pregnancy in fear. I was so much in fear that I used to call my doctor every time I wanted to eat something

Pregnancy books and websites have a comprehensive lists of do' s and don' ts. With all these advice you get during pregnancy, it' s easy to become paranoid. But you can eat almost everything during your pregnancy except for some foods that may cause infection.

you should avoid raw meat, seafood, unpasteurized milk or cheese, and alcohol. Otherwise everything else is fine in pregnancy if taken in moderation. Even caffeine is allowed in moderate doses. keep a balanced and healthy diet and do not stress too much
