Subject:  will it help to cope with obesity
My husband is an obese can Vipassana help him to lose weight? If not please suggest any other type of yoga which he can be used to reduce obesity. He is also finding an effective method of stress management can you tell me which are the other good forms of yoga? As he comes very late he do not get time to do all such activities, if he does yoga during the weekends only will it bring out and effective result. Can you suggest any good yoga classes? We both are finding difficult to solve this problem, please help us.

I also came across a term called yoga nidra it is some what similar to Vipassana.

Will video and audio cds relating yoga help?

I perform yoga for 10 minutes daily and it helps me a lot to mange stress. I think that if 10 minute yoga can help me so much Vipassana can help much better than that. Every person should do yoga for having a healthy body and mind. There are many types of yoga each person can choose any type which suits his or her own needs. After reading this article I am feeling encouraged to do Vipassana. It will help to get rid of all the bad habits possessed by person. It will help to shape a person as a good human being. Person will gain strength to face problems. A person can live a better life through practicing Vipassana. Vipassana should be included in the curriculum of schools compulsorily.

Subject:  Vipassana has increased my concentration
By practicing Vipassana I am able to concentrate on my work effectively which I was unable to do before. It is a good form of yoga. It is also helping me to control my anger and be calm. It is an effective way of managing stress. There are many Vipassana centers which help to learn Vipassana. I have also been to Vipassana Hawaii which is established in Honolulu which gives a complete Vipassana retreat. The Vipassana instructions given in this article is up to the mark and I think people who try practicing Vipassana should strictly follow all of them. I can suggest that it is good to do Vipassana early in the morning rather than doing it at any time. Any person performing Vipassana will be definitely benefited from it.
