I recently visited Delhi IVF centre. What can I say about my bad experience

a) Very rude staff. The receptionists are illiterate and treat you like stray dog in the street. The cashier not only takes money but sell medicine as well. Shocking because she is not qualified to do so. Only the cleaners are polite people who are generally helpful.

b) Is was a absolute fish market. The waiting area is really really small. Literally, the same size as drawing room with so many people crammed in it. We were sitting uncomfortablly shoulder to shoulder men and women...its embarrasing. and so many people were standing in the room and many more in the stairs. Its not that lot of ppl where there, the reason for this is because the place is very small and they give multiple appointments for same slots. Yes multiple appointment for same slot. Our appointment was at 2PM and we reached 145 PM but had to wait for 2 hours and when inquired about the massive delay, the receptionist says 'aisa he hota hai, wiat kar abhi aur'

3) Doctors and costs- Dr Anoop Gupta has just become money making machine. He doesn't provide any information to any patient. We spent exactly 2 mins with him and were charge Rs 500 for that. I remember last time it was like exactly 30 secs when he said everythin is fine and I end up paying Rs500 to hear that. Also for our first cycle we were told that cost will be in range of 1.10-1.20 lacs but u know how much we end up paying...1.5 lacs. They don't even do IVF package which means you pay lumpsum and get three chances.

Bottomline, yes it is important for ppl to get pregnant but to get humiliated, frustated during the process makes it even worst. I would never recommed Dr Gupta. Horrible experience even if you conceive.

This led me to believe that one should discuss realy bad doctors in Delhi who despite qualifications have been blinded by greed. Any bad experience, please share so that people who are hopeful watch out for bad elements.

contrary to ur experience, i had a great experience in a delhi based ivf center....the name is Adiva and i found everything so inviting about the hospital....the staff and the way that doctor listened to my qualms was nice....thanks for letting me share!

Bad Experience at KJIVF

I have the same experience in KJIVF centre. I went to KJIVF three months back….Dr Kuldeep Jain told me for three IUIs but he has spoiled my first and last cycle. He did IUI without repturing. For 3rd IUI, he gave appointment at 11 am…he took the sample at around 1:45pm and did IUI at 5 pm…..when I consult to my sister-in-law (who is also young doctor ) told me that sample is destroyed after 90 mintues and the chances is less for pregnancy. When I asked about all these things to his wife (because Dr kuldeep jain was not available) she was too rude….she replied in a very aggressive manner….that he is busy in laproscopy……Then I told her, if he is too busy then why didn’t call me up at 5 pm instead of 11 am ….that time she was speechless but staring at me like I m illiterate….The situation is so pathetic there….he gives importance to the patients who come first time and the old patients are like there jagir……because they have to wait…. He is so unprofessional and never explains any thing. His wife, who is radiologist, gives the treatment to the patients when he is busy in some meetings or workshops etc….

The situation is same here as in Delhi IVF….rude staff…The staff is really very rude and one of the sister (I think she is the head of all sisters) think that she is the doctor.

Waiting hours is too long….Inspite of prior appointment, all the patients still hav to wait for 4-5 hours on every visit and if we ask for the number then the staff says you have to wait. Once I went there for follicular monitoring without taking appointment, the staff literally very rude and told me why didn’t you take appointment.

The clinic is so called ISO but the cleanliness is zero…..the condition of toilet is so pathetic but staff or doctor never think about it.

I would suggest to everyone that please don’t visit to KJIVF as the doctor is heartless, money minded and they never feel our feelings and we are only money machine for them.

I have spent almost Rs 50,000 in three months only and at the end -----NO RESULT, MENTLE TENSION & DEPRESSION……wht Dr Kuldeep Jain has given me instead of child.

Very bad experience at Delhi-IVF, bengali market

Me too had a very bad experience at Delhi IVF centre.

1.The staff are very very unprofessional, rude and uncaring. They think their patients are illiterate & are being treated free of cost. Also the receptionists and so-called 'junior doctors' treat as if they are doing some obligation by answering patients' queries and they themselves are the busiest in the world. As
all the patients are already disappointed and frustrated due their infertility, they get more disappointed after this uncaring & cold reception.

2. Inspite of prior appointment, all the patients still hav to wait for 2-3 hours on every visit. And the doctor doesnt give more than 5-10 minutes to each patient. Its not understood why the Doctor doesnt give appointment to all patients at the gap of every 15 minutes and saving his and his patients' precious time and energy ? Also while talking to his patients , he attends unnecessary phone calls about some inuaguration ceremony held by a minister etc. or keeps whispering to his one or the other guest just sitting next to him in one corner.JUST UNPROFESSIONAL OR WANTS TO SHOW THAT HE IS SO BUSY !!!

3.Its very important for a couple to hav a child but not after experiencing unprofessional attitude at DELHI-IVF CENTRE. After all, there are hundreds of better doctors and clinics in delhi who are less expensive and better equipped.

4. I found almost 90 percent of his patients were disappointed due to waiting unnecessarily for 2-3 hours after appointment and rude behaviour of his staff.

I would never suggest anyone to visit Delhi-IVF.

Best Centres in Delhi for IVF.

I have visited almost all centres in Delhi & Mumbai & have suffered 6 IVF failures in last 8 yrs.

My treatment resulted positive about 6 months back at a centre called Delhi-IVF & Fertility Clinic, N.Delhi.

The centre is very small & crampy place, crowded most of the times & the waiting period is 2-3 hours everytime. But once you enter Doctor's chamber, then you forget all the waiting & feel that wait was worth it. Dr.Gupta is very polite, caring & a down to earth person. He would make you very positive & you'll start believing that yes, you can be a mother.

The staff, like any organisation is a mix. Some people look overworked, some are oversweet, some are dry & some are polite but overall, I would rate the centre as excellent (though, it needs more space & renovation & better orgnaisation). I feel that by end of everything what you need is success! Isn't it ! So, go ahead! Try your luck at Delhi-IVF.

How long stay in India for IVF

i am so sorry but i have loads of questions that keep popping in my head. I just wanted to know if someone had gone to India for their IVF treatment from UK or USA , how soon was it before they were able to fly back?? or did they have to spend there whole pregnancy period in India itself.
