Head Shave (Mundan):Baby behavior changes after Mundan
2013-01-04
Name: Mini Often I have noticed that babies behavior is changed after their mundan ceremony.Even the cranky become silent for a few days. And often they cry whenever they see themselves in the mirror. So, it is for the parents to see that their concentration is diverted somewhere else so that they are normal in a few days after the mundan.

I dont really think it can be generalized. It depends from babies to babies. My girl showed no different special response after mundan. She just cried during that mundan time and was quite normal after one two hours only. May be it depends on babies temperament.

Ya i totally agree with you Mini. My own little girl used to cry and shout when she used to look at the mirror her bald here. It took her some time to accept her new look. I guess it is a gud idea to spend some more time with ur child after mundan.

Hi Latha, go for it even i have done and its gives you 100% cure from dandruff. Your parents are right. If you want to get rid of this problem on permanent basis go for it and see the change.... - Piu [View Message]
RE:hi friends
Shaving your head will only be a temporary relief from the problem. Other ways will take time but they at least will last long. There is no permanent relief to the problem but you can at least try to get relief from it.... - Neev [View Message]
RE:hi friends
Shaving your head won't help you get rid of dandruff. Dandruff is kind of an skin infection and once you hair will grow even a lil the dandruff will be back and you can not be bald for life of course. See a doctor instead.... - NN [View Message]
RE:hi friends
Shaving your head will not be a permanent solution to your dandruff problem as when your hair grow back the problem will mostly come back to. Instead go your medications and get a hold on it and then get rid of it.... - NN [View Message]
RE:hi friends

RE:Mundan ceremonies Boys vs Girls!
Yes even today some people keep boys over girls but it will only change if one takes an initiative like if you think celebrating functions for a girl is as important as it is for a boy then make a difference. Celebrate her too.... - Kanchi [View Message]
RE:Head Shaving Issues n Concerns
Mundan is a tradition that has been taking place in india since the time man remembers and i don't think there is anything that should worry you. The people that do it are well versed in their job and are careful enough.... - Monica [View Message]
