My son seems to do everything that his friends tell him. He does not question them for even once. As a result of this he has started telling lies. How can I help him stand up against peer pressure? Please advise kaya replied. hello karuna,
if you know that your son under peer pressure then why dont you concentrate on your son things, and try to get involve in his activities, also you try to make his new friend. kavya replied. hello karuna,

you should control on your self,and make yourself strong, so like that way, you should keep control on your son, every boy and girls going through peer pressure, but he knows how to handle it. Gaurang Mishra replied. Don' t panic as yet! Talk his school teachers and other parents to come up with a startegy. Also, try to understand as to why he resorts to lying - he should feel comfortable in sharing things with you. Don' t be hrash woth your child and do not resort to hitting or shouting unless the circumstances are dire (even then I would advise against hitting). For this to work out well, you would need the help of his teachers and other family members as well. Good Luck!
Semant replied. I agree with hemant. Parents need to be with the kid at this hour. They have to teach the kid to value himself more. His capabilities, talents and other plus point will enhance his self -esteem and he will not fall into peer pressure. He also needs to be confident to be able to voice his opinions. Hemant replied. It is no doubt taht your son is under the influence of his friends. Acceptance into a circle of friends is the main reason of being conformed to peer pressure. This is the most vulnerable stage for a teenager. Be a guide and a friend to him. tell him his plus points so that he highlights those rather than conforming to the traits of his friends.
