Sleeping:8months and baby still not sleeping thru the nite!

Name: msr ms hi all mums..
im sure im not alone and there are mnay out there who share same issues...my baby is 8 months old now and yet doesnt sleep thru the nite. he is not hungry. i feed him solids...3 gud meals. plus he is on bottle milk too along with breastmilk. he is sleepy since 9pm and will only go to bed around 11 or 12! he sleeps with us in the same bed..wonder if thats right in the first place!
He gets up around 2.30 or 3am crying and if i feed he will sleep...to get up again at 5 or 6! finally hes up in the morning around 9am.
i am fed up with this and desperately want him to sleep thru the nite.
plz help.

The very first thing that you may have to do as you work on a plan to help your baby sleep is to learn to differentiate between the noises that your baby makes even when she is sleeping, called sleeping noises and noises she makes when she may be stirring awake, called
awake noises. Please understand that this does not mean that should your baby start to cry, that you do not respond or try to go to her.

According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
