As my hubby informed you all I delivered baby boy on 6th May (5th night 2.00am) we named him Rishon(means No.1 or Champion)
so about birth story..on 5th I walked alot & climbed stairs....Late in the evening I was talking to hubby..& was asking him when baby will come?all of sudden at around 10.15 water broke & I thought how I could not control toilet wasnt getting pain at that time..& I understood its nothing but water break..& I became panic I was crying & shaking & was telling my hubby...I am confused dont know what to do next..I read so many books..but I forgot what to do next thank god whatever I use to read I use to tell my hubby & he remembered it so well he gave me pads to put on..calmed me down saying dont be panic..otherwise baby will feel stressed...he took me to doctor & he managed it so well & on the way he informed to the hospital..about my water break..& asked for immdiate assistance..as I went to hopital doctor chked me & told me Im already 4cm dialeted it was around 11.10pm..& mine painful contraction started doctor estimated my delivery time 6.00am & admitted me..at around 11.45 my contraction started coming 2-3 minutes apart & I was screaming with pain(omg Terrible pain)& I was kicking my hubby that why he is not doing anything..doctor chkd me & said I am 7cm dialted I asked her to give me epidural & she said cant give you now...I yelled on her saying why didnt you asked me before...lol finally she gave me some pain relief inj(wch was of no use..pain didnt reduce only)..& then they took me to labour room there they were preparing for other things & asked me to walk in labour room when contraction will come do squatting..I was doing that finally they took me on bed my doctor came in...whenever my pain came they told me to push (by the way we never discussed this in indiaparenting that we have to push when contraction comes I was thinking we have to keep pushing all the time hahaha)& believe me I was screaming like anything...& was pushing real hard but baby wasnt coming out..& doc was telling me that im not pushing at all..I was begging to doctor do my c section I cant bare this pain..they were asking me to do breathing excersice & i was telling them its not working I dont want to do that breathing excersice sucks ..lol.do my c section...finally one nurse came & started pushing on my stomach & doctor has to use Vaccum Extersion..& Baby was out at sharp 2.00am..& the reason baby didnt come out early was cord was strangled tightly on his neck(my poor baby :()seeing him I forgot all my pain..& that pain relief inj was working now I was feeling dizzy.when I got up baby was next to me :)
one sad part was on 8th I noticed my baby is looking yellowish we rush to doctor & doc asked us to admit him due to jaundice..& they were giving phototherepy.Though it takes max 48 hours to heal by phototherepy but my baby took 72 hours as he is having little swelling on backside of his head due to vaccum which was slowing down his progress & since 4 days i was crying seeing my baby in phototherpy box.But now he is fine & is at home.
It feels gr8 to be mom..I heartly thank God for giving me such a beautiful gift.

What is water break exactly look like... As I started bloody show on monday morning and it stopped fully by evening... NOw it as normal as before... But there is whitish clear discharge in between. Does this water comes in larg quantity. Baby movement is fine. I have appointment today .. but I have not yet got any pains ...

My due date is 16th may Dont know what to do should i opt for C-section???? I am getting scared day by day..and due date is also going to get over and no pain.

Did your bloody discharged stopped on the same day.????

TAke care Sabitha Jayashankar replied. Read Rishon' s birth story.Once again congrats.I can understand how u might have panicked.With my experience i panicked when i had bloody discharge and then bleeding.When i really did go in to labor i did not panic because i thought again it was a false alarm.
Good that Rishon is doing well.I can understand how u might have felt. Abhishek also had low level jaundice but didnt need photo therapy.But he was extremely dehydrated until milk came.He had orange color urine and wet diapers were lesser than normal and no bowel movements for 4 days and above all his weight further reduced than the discharge weight which by itself is lesser than the birth weight.He is already too tiny.The follow up showed his weight is slightly increasing. Tomorrow he has a checkup.Hope his weight has further increased.
Did u have to get Rishon admitted to put in phototherapy box or u could take box home ?Newborn jaundice is quite common.Both my sons had it and i myself had it as a newborn.My sons doctor said its due to my blood group being different from his blood group.Sometimes being born a little earlier also causes it.
